Changes in the last 2 weeks

2 weeks have passed and things have been added, fixed, and changed. Below are a few:

• New: Virus status on the file download page. (All uploads are now scanned for viruses and all previous uploads have been scanned and there status updated)
• New: Remote URL Uploads are back.
• New: Keep logged in option.
• New: Share options for files and the site.
• New: Sort columns on file browser.
• New: Short URL on uploads. Copy the download link your given after uploading a file. You'll find the link uses a new short url http://d-h.st/
• Fix: Upload problems the first few days of new launch.
• Change: The download count on files no long count each click of the download button as an increment. Now only your first click is counted per file per day.

Welcome to the new DEV-HOST website

As you can see we have a new look. What does this mean? A modern looking website, completely re-coded from the ground up resulting in faster speeds, and lots of improvments.

Some of the new features include:

• Web 2.0 Layout utilizing HTML5 and PHP
• Multiple file drag and drop upload support
• Shorter download URLs starting at 3 characters
• Preview thumbnail of image files before download
• Browsing a users page shows thumbnails for images
